NE IA | Only downfall I can see is trying to get an even mat of crop in some crop conditions. sometimes it can be heavy in the middle or on each side depending on crop height and density and header width. A disc machine can cut as fast as you can drive and plug alot less. maintaince cost is less unless you have gear box trouble but our deeres have been toublefree in regards to gear boxes. Circle C rolls do help drying time and make softer hay but are to pricey and require to much maintainence. We had about three sets of their early ones and finally the last one shelled off it's rubber skin and I said thats enough and went back to deere rubber rolls. Haven't touched them in 5or 6 years since. Didn't know about the tri lobe ones but looks worth a try to me and should last forever. Circle C wants you to rebuild theirs every few years sorry not me . lynn | |
