JDDairyFarmer - 3/27/2011 13:07 I just realized that a pig will gain 3 to 5 pounds a day so I guess i will be killing them in a couple months. Might raise 2 more for a big company Pig Pickin this fall after all the crops are in and manure hauled. If you get those pigs to grow 3+ lbs/day avg from 50-260 I'll buy you a plane ticket to fly you up here so you can teach me how to get pigs to grow that fast. There might be a few days during a pigs life where it could possibly gain 3 lbs/day but it aint going to avg anywhere close to 3 lbs ADG. |
