Difficult weather for calving season

temps for alot of the Midwest ( N country ) seems to always be April 11th thru the 14th.

Just easier for calves to born after that than before, if it works for your deal.

Nothing wrong with calfing before the afore date either...just takes more work and Luck to keep em alive.

In some respects, "planting" a new calf on the environment is NO different than planting a corn or bean seed. ( THINK about it )
