If his manure is gray in color it means it is acidic and you need to give it some baking soda orally to balance his PH back out. I would also give C&D antitoxin plus a good shot of antibiotic. When you give the C&D antitoxin give say 10cc orally and another 10cc subcutaneous. Keep on top of it they can go downhill fast, good luck.
