East River SoDak | As a rule of thumb he's right, although i've never heard of it looked at that way...always the opposite way "generally speaking more milk equals more marbling". Jersey's generally have high marbling, Charolais generally has less marbling. As is always the case though, you can't let rules of thumb guide you. With the right tools and information, you should have no problem finding a bull that increases marbling, is easy fleshing and won't increase your milk. | |
