I make a cheese spread that usually disappears in a hurry..... It is fairly easy and will keep in the fridge for a week or more if it does not get all eaten first...

1 - 8 ounce package cream cheese, set ont he counter to soften makes it easier to mix
2 to 3 cups of shredded cheese.... I like cheddar best, I buy the ones already shredded, I like to use 3 cups makes more cheese spread
1/4 cup sweet relish, more if it is to tart for you with the cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon mustard
1/2 to 3/4 cup Miracle Whip - enough to moisten and make it all mix together easily
1 small finely chopped onion
Mix all together and store in the fridge.... I like this on crackers it is also very good on a piece of toast and we have put it on toast and under the broiler for a minute....
My sister adds Hot Sauce to this for a little zip....
Enjoy - Betsy
