I love my Dyson canister. Took me a while to figure out how to empty the canister without spilling it everywhere...but it sure gathers a LOT of dirt quickly. I got the "animal" model, even though I didn't have an inside pet, thinking it would have more suction. Then two weeks later I got a Gordon Setter dog..they have LOTS of long black hair. I am glad I got that model now!
