We use calf guard to protect against scours and also give a shot of Vision 7 with spur, the spur is to protect against injection site reaction. Since we started using Calf Guard and not feeding in bale feeders anymore we have pretty much solved any trouble we used to have. I would say to have some Resorb on hand and a good antibiotic and like others have said OB gloves Vitamin B and C&D antitoxin. Good luck.
