SWMN | I would have to agree with the pleasures of listening to the stories of the older generations. Lost a great friend, neighbor, landlord a couple weeks ago. At age 98 his mind was still sharp and his wit, even better. Knew this man all of my 62 years and always enjoyed listening to his tales of the old days and rarely heard the same story twice. Learned a lot about appreciating what we have and getting by on a little less than we needed. We need to pass some of that wisdom on to the younguns. | |
