I've had a couple odd things happen this weekend.

First, when I go to the forum view page (http://talk.newagtalk.com/category-view.asp?showall=true) and click on "Your active threads" (http://talk.newagtalk.com/search/query.asp?action=search&collapsethreads=1&searchforumid=all&keywords=&author=Mike+SE+IL&days=30) it doesn't show my posts in the computer forum. if I go back and check my posts for the last 24 hours it shows up.

The other odd thing was while replying to a post about grain cart augers (http://talk.newagtalk.com/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=217084) I was trying to post an excerpt from an owner's manual pdf.  I first tried a copy and paste.  When I hit submit I got an error message ... I think it was a 500 error.  I removed the paste from the pdf file and it worked.  So I pasted the excerpt to a notepad page then tried copying and pasting again.  No luck.  So I then copies the notepad info to Open Office and cheked for hidden characters, etc.  Stll would not work.  I went back to OO and changed formats, fonts, sizes, etc and copied and pasted ... and it worked.

I don't know what I did to make it acceptable.
