scky | NEi the cattle will find the mineral and smell around the fly bullets and start using it soon. If you have not used the barrels before then the cows will have 2 adjustment periods, hang it up with fly bullets and they will get used to it soon. I made a new one yesterday have not got the snaps for the bullets. I use a 2 gallon garden spray, cut the pipe off behind the nozzle, unsnap the bullets from the barrel set them in a clean 5 gallon bucket and spray away. Put the unused spray mix back into the sprayer, with the nozzle gone nothing to stop up.
