they'll be more resistence to it.

Some of the purebred lines are inbred enough ( generally for the supposed benefits of other traits ) that they're simply WEAK.
Some lines of Black Angus carry an eye defect which is technically called "white eye," on herfys...there's simply to much "domino" in em.

( problem with in breed coefficient factors of 20 to 60% in many of the cattle of supposed breeds...is it's pretty tough to find something unrelated, because most everything relates to the "flavor of the year" club somewhere in later history )

Identify those (1st: sire lines of calves that break. AND 2nd, any correlation of sire lines of dams whose calves break ), and drop em.
