| I only put tags age & source tags in at weaning as well. Less chance for you to lose them. Plus if you only want to market say 200 calves out of 250, then wait till last minute before shipping then put them in. However I buy tags for all my calves, tag them when weaning them. Then shipping date, pull off unneeded calves. Far cheaper to buy extra tags, than to pay labor and stress calves by sorting and working them again. | |
