| What have you found out about your cow that was down? I know it sure upsets me when you can monitor a pen of cattle or cows, they are fine one day then the next one is dead. It seems as if milk cows are the worst for that. The real problem I have is I never cull milk cows for age, if they still are breeders or don't get sick or mastitis I keep them, then one day they just tip over. Most milk cows will cull themselves out of the herd.
I know I 've sometimes had the vet look at them, and he would say they had bad hearts, or something else. It allways made me wonder if it truly those things he said. | |
