SESD | Didn't read all the threads, but here's what I try. If you have power there, plug in a small cheap space heater. This is how I have 2 wateres full time. Like it because the line never freezes and if something is frozen, it's just the top of the water. If that doesn't work and you can get access to the pipe from the top, get a small copper pipe(1/4") and attach a small funnel to the top. Put it inside the tube and slowly poor water in and keep pushing the copper pipe further down. We have a energy free waterer and for some reason with the -30 below temps couple weeks ago, it was frozen about a foot thick underneath the waterer/ground level. Good Luck
