Mrs. Fefernuse, instead of reminding your husband,  maybe you should just go ahead and make the plans.  Would it be more romantic that way?  Maybe one year - this year - you just plan it as you would like to see it done, maybe he'll think "Wow.  I like this".  Maybe next year, he'll remember how it was done, and try to imitate ?    (Then again...... maybe not?  :)     )

I'm wondering.... maybe it's not that he doesn't remember, but that he doesn't have a clue how to plan a romantic Valentine's "getaway", and he needs some ideas/ suggestions.
