Honestly, you probably have 2 choices.... no, I guess there are 3 choices:

a) find the land and grow your own

b) lock your market in, price and tonnage.

I guess the third choice would be to take your chances, wouldn't it? 

I guess the question would be; do you want to take your chances? 

I guess it's market situations like these that encourage guys to get control of their own land - either by purchase or rent - and control their own forage needs, doesn't it ?   Maybe you think I sound harsh, but I think this is being realistic.
