| In our case, there is no doubt this is a sacifice paddock. We are talking about 125 head on 5-7 acres with access to some woods for shelter. So next week when it gets to 40 or 50 degrees, it will be ugly. And yes sometimes it is a challenge to get it seeded back down, but the change in fertility of the paddock with very little effort [ fuel, time, puchased fertilizer ] makes it worth it. Ron | |
