Kittitas Co. Wa. State

The "rollup hose" wall option isn't such a big deal,, just put in more than enough outlets, and get the dustpan option wherever it is needed.  It's pretty simple putting the outlet under the toe kick in any lower unit and sweeping up is a breeze.  Just put toe against opener,, and sweep all the floor junk into the opening.

Don't be chinsy on the power unit.

Just get a brand which has electricity to the outlet itself so when the hose is plugged into the suction for rugs etc.. the carpet head, beater bar is a powered unit.

Friend put a central vac in his house not during a remodel,, and took a bit more effort. But... amazing how much suction power 5+ hp has in a central vac !!
