SwMo on Ks line | Best way is fence line feed bunks in large catch pen that is connected to smaller working facility on back (away from bunks).....cows go to bunks and calves stay back which can then be pusher back out to working pen without cows, if set up right. Put gate on back of big pen entrance and then another in alley headed back to pasture that is connected to working facility ,smaller pens. Not the cheapest but really works well ....Beats fighting gates,and mud to get them fed or caught. Not cheapest but you didn't ask for that.Start smaller and add more bunks and pens as you grow. | |
