We still have a rendering service here, I think its $35/cow or something like that. I don't use it for calves, if its warm out just throw some compost on top of it, cornstalks or manure, etc to keep the smell down and let nature do its thing. Had one that I didn't get covered good enough and the turkey vultures found it and had snacks for a few days. Composting in a manure pile works pretty good.
