Manitoba | That's a good idea,I built a plywood box with a raised slatted floor and have a ceramic heater under the raised floor.Previously heated the box with heat lamps but the calf would still be wet underneath.If you have airflow thru the floor they warm and dry so much better.Also a good idea to put a thermometer in the box as it can get too hot,I've got a window on the side of the box that I use to regulate the heat. | |
