I am having trouble getting a file out of my CD drive .

I drag files into the CD drive on my laptop to back them up , well I somehow drug the windows file from my C drive, it's too big to copy and I can't get it out of my files to be copied .

How can I get it out of there ? I try to delete it and it gives me an error message of

cannot delete tahomabd.ttf access is denied make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use

Why can't i get ride of this file from my CD drive ?

Windows XP is my operating system.
