Should be pretty standard. My vet can run a quick culture that checks our own bulls, that get tested every year. Closed herd, but you never know if someone jumped a fence somewhere. Neighbors are all good cattlemen and check as well, but it is cheap insurance. That runs about $20 a bull, he does it when he is here.

Now we have bulls for sale that have to get sent to cert lab. We had several checked last month along with a complete soundness exam, some extra vacs, etc. That all together ran $60 bull. Its not rocket science, takes about 1 min to take a sample.
