Silver Lake, Kansas | Mrs. Farmers here. If I remember all the consumer research I did when looking for a new washer, the feds changed the energy standards for all washing top and front. The top loader design were water hogs and they had to meet the new standards. Thus the loss of the agitator. I have read reports that some of the new top loaders due to the design do not get clothes as clean as a same size front loader. | |
