We blow 25% corn into the silo. Just short of 90% of the kernels are opened up, scuffed or otherwise damaged in random samples I took by the time it goes into the feed truck, so I have never felt compelled to add the bottleneck or expense of a roller mill to get the marginal added efficiency. My cousins with a bunker roll it all in order to get it packed better.
What do you use to grind high moisture corn?
