Absolutely, we don't give them at the recommended times but the Heifers always get theirs as close as possible to recommendation. Big things it will help on is scours and BVD. We give a FP5 and Scour guard as well as pour on.

Forgot-- cows are usually 2-4 weeks pre calving and heifers are usually 6 then again at 3. All the vaccines list what they recommend. We will go several months ahead of calving with the cows, especially the late calvers they are pushing 4 months.
