Sorry to hear this news. You say these animals were steers, as in feeder cattle? The article says "cows" but I realize to "citiot" news media, any bovine animal is a "cow". Also doesn't say if this is beef or dairy breeds. It's hard to imagine a loss on this scale unless the cattle had no history of vaccination.
