NEMO | I've had two Toyota's a 94 corolla and an 07 Rav4. The corolla was bought as a savage title, (it was a Chicago impound). So I'm guessing it didn't get much love from the previous owner. Only thing I did to it was rebuild the AC compressor in it. My wife took to drove it to school 40 miles each way, we took it to Chicago twice. Never one problem with it. Since we had such good luck with it, we bought the rav and so far were at 80k miles and so far it hasn't needed anything. It's another one of those vehicles that has way more power then needed.
As far as the Tacoma and the frames rusting, I'm pretty sure Toyota took care of there customers.
Wife named her Beauty.
