| Now I can tell ya'all a story that includes church, hornets, and a situation getting hairy all at one time. Well, actually it wasn't hornets, it was bees that built a hive under the eave of the church.
I went to the church after it got dark and set the ladder up in the back of my pickup with the cargo light on. Then I climbed up on my aluminum extension ladder with my flashlight and a can of Raid (it was wasp/hornet spray) I proceeded to spray said contents of said can on to the hive. Very shortly I had mad bees boiling out everywhere. With the spray can in one hand and flashlight in the other it was awkward to make a hasty retreat down the ladder to say the least.
So all things considered I think I too will pass on helping Kevin and let him go with Squish's sound advice! ;-) | |
