.204's don't like the wind much. I thought I needed one a few years back and picked up a Weatherby VanGuard with medium bull barrel. Neat rifle but buying bulk V-Max ammo is as expensive as 22-250 ammo. I'm in the process of selling it and just sticking to a few .223's. Bulk ammo with V-Max bullets run $45 for .223 and $64 for .204 and 22-250. Something to keep in mind if you plan on shooting a bunch. Now, if you reload, there is some money to save but it still won't like the wind. Joe
