I used it last year to stretch my haylage worked real good. Cows looked at it funny for the fist 3 days but ate it and then they got used to it and went like crazy on it. Have a friend that is stretching his CS supply this year and is feeding 30# per cow as fed at about 65-70% moisture. Make sure you cover it with plastic it will keep spoilage to a very small amount. It used to freeze to my skidsteer bucket a little on the way from pile to mixer (150 ft) on real cold days. Didn't get any this year, had an excellent corn silage yield. It's really popular in the thumb of Michigan, if you didn't have it contracted in advance it's pretty hard to get it now.
