I've mostly rented kelly ryan's. Never had a problem with them. Biggest thing is to be sure the rotor (packer) isn't wore out. If it is, it won't pack near as good. If one is, its not too big of a deal to cut out old ones and replace, but do pay accordingly. We do have a custom guy that runs two ag baggers, and I have used them too, and they are good machines. Personally, I would not be afraid of buying either one if the price is right. I will say the hydraulic pressure setting is nice on the newer machines vs. the manual brake, but there again I've gotten along with them too. The first bag we made years ago, I barely remember it, you had to use the break on the tractor, not good LOL.
