That's correct. Will not be able to get hardly anything except via online or snail-mail.

There are a couple trains of thought:

1) It will save the state money as they will be able to change out plates quicker, as each branch has inventory which takes time to use up.
   There will be other realized savings, easier to prove identity, blah-blah-blah.

I find this will make it very hard for our seniors, others and think it is a crock-of-xxxx.


2)My LEO wife knows there are many instances of fraud,especially in the identification line (think illegal immigrants and drivers licenses).
   Rather than fix the corruption, and misuse, they are going to try to centralize the process making our trips to the BMV a huge waste of time(more so than it already is).

I feel this line of thinking has more meat!
