Owings, Maryland 38.6856 N 76.6752 W | Got the plow on just in case, it's snowin but isn't amounting to much. Down here in the southern reaches we were supposed to get hammered at one point, well with some of the forecasts. You would never believe the forecasting stories from around here, almost make you think your losing your mind. Heard 10"-12", well i'd better get my stuff together, sit down and check the 'puter, 2"-4" possible by sunset then an hour later, winds will gust to 35 and we may get an inch. Hard to keep track of what is coming.
Doesn't take much to cause a cluster here,, roads are still fine, using that new pretreat technology, beetpulp, that may be rumor, i'm not sure what they are using for spray but seems to work well above 20 or so degrees...I'll try to keep you abreast if we get wallered in.......... |
