West Central Iowa | Went to a local orthopedic surgeon and had X-rays and an MRI. Surgeon and radiologist both said I had a torn meniscus and a torn AC on my right knee. As I was not having any trouble with my knee buckling or with knee instability, along with my age being a factor, they did not recommend doing anything with the ACL. On Thursday of this week I had arthroscopic surgery to repair the torn meniscus. It is too early to tell for sure, but so far I seem to be getting along OK. At least the pain I am having now is different then what I had before the surgery and I think is mostly a result of the surgery.
Thanks for all of the replies and help I received on my original post!
And I am going to try to post a picture of our grandaughter......she is coming this afternoon and I can't wait to see her.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!
