Thumb of Michigan | About 4 yrs ago, DIL wondered if I'd be willing to listen to an alternative for me to avoid what I have determined is the #1 reason for my high blood pressure: Christmas shopping. I was all ears. She suggested a trip to a indoor water park. My job was to pay for the rooms and the passes to the park. My dad picked up the meals. I cannot emphasize enough how much easier it is on my blood pressure, and also how much fun we all have. Mess isn't located at anyone's house ( I have 7 grand kids, 6 under 10. There's ample opportunities for messes) nor is it up to one or 2 too get a big meal cooked. Since that first trip, we've went to a planetarium, a kid friendly museum, Henry Ford museum last year, and back to a water park this year. All have been relatively close to home, but far enough away to qualify as a nice mini vacation. I'm glad we do it.
Chuck, where are you going skiing at? | |
