NE Indiana | well at my day job we are all subject to random drug test, but, with reasonable cause meaning that if you look like your on it then you can get tested. I have been employed at my day job for nearly twelve years and have only had it done to me once when Iwas driving a forklift i had came around a blind corner blowing my horn and bumped into a guy. now they took me and had the test done but not the other guy and our handbook stated and the time that both parties were to be tested. I was quite disappointed that they couldnt follow their own rules and said that I would file a grievence if they did not test the other guy a day later. (the other guy looked like a BIG TIME DRUGGY) so to avoid the grievencethe tested the other guy and found trace amounts of herroin and weed. So I guess in my thoughts yes you do have rights and they were violated. | |
