| I fed a similar product a couple years ago but don't have the ability to split a pen to compare results.
It seemed to keep them gaining through the last 45 days while laying on the last bit of finish. It also made them a little more ornery. They seemed more "up-tight" and flighty. Not sure if it was the product or the calves, but never experienced that before. Hog farmer neighbor said it does the same thing to pigs.
All in all I think it paid, but don't know for sure because I'm not able to split a feeding group. | |
