western iowa,by Denison | Roy,no numbers yet,the wt was 540 coming in-background then feed hard last 120 days-my counterparts in the other pen were 100# lighter same time on feed?On the building lynn it is 40x120,hold 120 fats though I like more bunk space-clean pens about every 2-3 wks.not sure yet only been using it 2-3 months,starting calves in it now,wont change much on the next building-maybe more bunk space as I like to see all calves at the bunk at once to pick out the sick ones-2ft per head would be ideal for my operation.Narrow and long but not over 200 ft? | |
