I agree if your not selling them anytime soon, let the sun and mother nature take care of it. In the past I've rubbed on kerosine or diesel fuel. The last time I sold some 4h calves I used some atheletes foot powder, sprayed it on their face when they were at the feed bunk. It also worked good.
