half hay, half cornstalk (not grain) with a little ddg is a whole lot different than the original post above. Lots of folks, including me, graze cows on harvested (or baled) cornstalks successfully.

Mlazyj, the Mineralyx tubs are low protein and primarily mineral. They are designed for cattle however.
