Farmington IL | Seemed like when we did use balefeeders we still ended up putting bales out somewhere about every day. We see all the cattle twice a day, good weather or bad. Chores probably only took an extra 15 minutes today, just felt like a couple extra hours. We will have to put at least one of the snow blowers on in the morning. Were only supposed to get 1-2 inches of snow but it sure blew around. When we did chores this afternoon all the cows were up near the lots with a few out in the stalks still eating and the calves were in the back of the barn out of the wind. Still windy, temp down to 15 now but the snow has stopped. | |
