| No roof over any cows heads here, but at least it's a "dry cold". It's quite a jolt to go from +40s on Friday to -12 this morning, but at least there is no wind today and the sun is shining.
The wind chill yesterday was nasty with the actual temp staying a little above 0. Cattle mostly stayed hunkered down and got fed in draws or behind windbreaks. No timber here and no mud either. Everything is pretty much frozen solid. Maybe a couple inches of new snow out of the deal but it's hard to tell.
Tractor wouldn't start yesterday when I tried it after only a couple hours of being plugged in. I left it another hour and then boosted it. I plugged it in last night so it should be ready to go now "in the heat of the day" LOL!
