Here's what I do. Wash the area with warm water from spray nozzle, scrubbing with fingers as necessary to remove dead tissue. Wipe it dry with paper towel . Using a syringe , squirt full strength injectable tetracycline on to the area , again use fingers to work it into all nooks and crannies. May need to do it a couple of times . Always cured it right up for me.
