NE IA | I have a 702 on a 110hp tractor. It really depends on your feedstuffs and moisture levels, the drier the lower the hp required. as far as processing a round bale that should take almost two whole bales. I really don't feel it is the most efficient way to grind hay it just takes to long to do whole bales IMO. The main requirement with a vertical mixer once loaded is the start up torque required , you need a tractor that can stand to start it. | |
