| It's not that way here, but it does not supprise me that a tradition like that exists, that far south. A lot of overseas trade and immigration took place in the area. Along with that, I would imagine a lot of outside customs and traditions would come with. Traditions are just that, traditions, and usually are kept active with only slight dilutions for many generations. Sort of like turkey at thanksgiving. I prefer beef, but hey, tradition is tradition. | |
