Subject: Keep the pictures coming------- kindles fond memories.........

Oskaloosa, Iowa 52577

One of my fondest memories was of "Grandpa's farm"...........and the draft horses there.

My uncles told me he raised Belgiums.

What I know for sure is that I would break out of the house yard and head to the horse barn.......................................I was 2-4........to see my "buddies"------ Dewey and Sparky...........his two lead drafts.........

Grandpa said I was one of the few people that those two horses would allow around them without fidgeting.........he said they never moved even a foot when I was around.

I could climb over the manger and get inside the stalls..............and walk under them.

I kept asking about what those big thingys were that hung underneath them..........Grandpa just said they were special handles.

Is that what they mean by the "good ol' days"??
