Lubbock, Texas
the article says who paid for those......it indicated it was a community foundation funded by casinos.......but something tells me this is another example of how our governments at all levels cover up the extraction of and the waste of billions of dollars in the economy

I would bet a ton of money this "foundation" is not something voluntary that all the casinos decided to get together and fund on their own I would bet it was a mandatory foundation they are legally required to fund in order to hold their gambling license and I would imagine the foundation funds a bunch of BS that are the pet projects of those that were going to vote against casinos......before they voted for them

so in other words it is a "tax" on casinos and instead of going to the things that everyone else's taxes go towards it goes towards the pet projects of blowhards that would pay for crap like this with others money......and it is set up in a way where most will just think it is a foundation and not a required cost of owning a gambling license.....which is a tax

I would be about 100% sure the reality is this is 3 million that could have been taxed from casinos and used for worthwhile projects if it was not being squandered through a phony foundation
