West Texas | A few things to consider:
1) Guys who hide their identity and/or location are hard to take seriously. For all we know, they're merely a city troll out to stir trouble.
Bottom line: if you want to be taken seriously, if you want credibility among farmers, anonymity is the way to deny yourself both.
2) Smart has nothing to do with it. If you're dumb as a rock, but you've got valuable experience, you're worth a whole lot more than the guy who rivals Einstein in intellect, but has nothing but book-larnin' to offer. If that.
3) Guys who flame probably don't realize that each time they denigrate another poster, their own credibility drops that much more. Eventually, the rest of AgTalk simply fails to notice their posts, having realized that this poster has nothing whatsoever to say that is of value, other than the hope of learning a new swear word.
